City of Hesperia, CA Invites You to the Public Treasury Institute's new CASHIER TRAINING COURSE offered twice for your convenience: October 22nd (1-5pm) or October 23rd ( 8am-Noon)

Cashier Training reduces overages, shortages and losses; improves accuracy, customer service and internal control compliance; prepares cashiers for emergencies, possibilities of theft and fraud; and much more.

Based on the Public Treasury Institute's brand new book, HIGHLY COMPETENT CASHIERS, this course is for cashiers and supervisors committed to improving cashiering skills and operations. Participants will receive in-depth instruction on best practices and techniques used to reduce loss and theft; increase accuracy and efficiency handling cash and non-cash transactions; improve customer service and incorporate greater internal controls.The course includes 4 hours of instruction, a copy of the book ( to read more about the book, click here), exercises, review and certification.
