The Public Treasury Institute of North America, LLC was created in 2004 to address the growing demand by public treasury and finance officials for in-depth, affordable training and educational materials.

Stacey Crane, the Institute’s CEO and President, has 22 years of experience working with public treasury officials on legislative, regulatory and policy concerns in addition to developing relevant training and publications.

As the former Legislative and Associate Director of the National Association of State Treasurers, Intergovernmental Liaison for the Council of State Governments and Executive Director of the Association of Public Treasurers, she works with an extensive network of treasury professionals and elected and appointed public officials to publish treasury manuals and construct in-depth courses for public finance officials throughout North America.

Ms Crane writes articles for a number of national and state trade magazines and provides editorial and media relations assistance to governments and private firms in the public finance field.

Members of the Institute’s Advisory Board, comprised of professionals with legal, technical, strategic and international project experience, include: Joseph Dussault, Principal Software Engineer; Everest Technology Solutions; Daniel Gold, JD; Jacob Crane, Project Director, ConnStep, Inc; and Susan Lockwood, U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
